The United Forum of Reserve Bank Officers & Employees has protested very strongly with the Governor against the bank’s dilly-dallying in a highly sensitive matter like wage revision of the staff pending for last four years. The Governor was supposed to hold talks with the Union and it was expecting a solution to emerge. But it was in vain, states a release issued by the United Forum. The Forum has decided to circulate its letter to the Governor widely among the membership. Also, Joint office bearers / Executive Committee deputation will meet the respective Regional Directors during lunch recess on November 16, 2021 demanding immediate resumption of the process of finalisation of wage talks.

There will also be a lunch time joint Gate demonstration on November 18, 2021, lunch time mass deputation to Regional Directors / Officer-in-charge on November 26, 2021 and mass casual leave for all staff coming under current wage settlements on November 30, 2021. The Forum has asked its members to strictly follow COVID protocol for all the above programmes. Leave application for 30th should be collected from all employees/ officers and submitted to the respective officer in charge on November 21, 2021 by a small deputation comprising one leading representative each from the constituents, says the press release by the United Forum.
