The railway station’s Platform No. 1 was opened for public Tuesday which was closed during the inaugural function on Monday due to security reasons
 
 
The world class facilities like escalator, elevator, proper space and beautification with clean environment began at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station earlier known as Habibganj. On Tuesday, many people were seen taking selfies and videos of the railway station after entrance. On the inauguration day on Monday, general people were not allowed on platform 1 for safety issues of the Prime Minister. On Tuesday when people entered to the station they were almost surprised to see the scene. No one boarded the train without taking selfies. Even social media sites buzzed with pictures of the railway station and locals boast off the facilities in their city.
 
The railway station has been redeveloped on the lines of green building where maximum space has been made for natural light, better ventilation, recycling of products, recycles water, use of solar power and rain water harvesting. There is better sitting arrangement for passengers at the railway station now. Apart from this, free wi-fi facility ha sbeen made available for the public. Stainless steel sitting seats have been provided for around 1750 people in waiting room, air concourse and platform area.
 
The station has neat and clean retiring room, dormitory, VIP lounge and other various facilities. The station will have grand entrance, food cafeteria, waiting lounge, modern toilets, world class interiors, LED lights, waste water treatment plant, sitting arrangement, exit, interiors, five star hotel, concourse area etc. A commercial building has also been constructed to provide head to toe facility to the passengers. Apart from hospital, saloon, hotel and restaurants, there will be all kind of shops for the passengers. The passengers would soon get the facility of escalator, lift and travelator and other airport like facilities at the station.
