A DELEGATION under the leadership of CA Julfesh Shah, Chairman, COSIA Vidarbha conducted a meeting with the General Manager of District Industries Centre, Nagpur S S Muddamwar who recently took the charge. CA Julfesh Shah greeted him and discussed various issues related to industry. Shah said that one of the biggest issues faced by the industries located on private industrial land outside MIDC area is getting the sanction of factory building plan. The NMRDA is the sanctioning authority outside the corporation limits. “Getting the factory plan sanctioned with NMRDA’s stringent norms and other bottlenecks has become a challenging task for the industrialists,” he said. The delegation also apprised the GM about the issue of late disbursement of subsidy under various schemes. The industries are just coming out of a difficult phase of pandemic and having tight liquidity position.
Shah said, “If timely disbursement of sanctioned incentives is done by the authorities, it will help entrepreneurs, micro and small units to survive in these challenging times.” COSIA has always been in the forefront to raise various industries issues and was instrumental in getting dal mills, rice mills and oil mills of Maharashtra State under the ambit of PSI-2019 scheme as it was initially left out of the scheme. S S Muddamwar appreciated the initiatives and efforts taken by COSIA, Vidarbha on various fronts. He assured to provide all possible cooperation for the benefit of industrial development of Vidarbha. He also appealed the COSIA office-bearers to organise various awareness programmes for the benefit of the entrepreneurs of the region. Secretary Pranav Ambaselkar, Vice Chairman Sudarshan Shende, Sahaj Patel and Vipin Bhargava were present during the interaction.
