Police announce cash reward for tip in Shivang missing case

After failing to procure information on the engineering graduate, who went missing from Chandkhuri recently, the Durg Police have announced a reward of Rs 10,000 for information on him. The person giving any useful information will be given cash reward of Rs 10,000 by the Police Department. After the announcement of reward by the Senior Superintendent of Police B N Meena, the Police Department got the pamphlets published in this regard and distributed them in the nearby police stations.
On the other hand, various police teams constituted for locating the missing youth are still grappling in the dark and the youth remained untraced on the fifth consecutive day.
It is worth mentioning that Maroda resident engineer Shivang Chandrakar (28), son of Rajendra Chandrakar went missing from his Chandkhuri situated farmhouse on December 6. His motorcycle was found lying unclaimed outside the farmhouse and after he failed in returning home, his family approached the police on the next day. His mobile phone is also switched off and apprehensive of any untoward happening with Shivang, the police had engaged divers in the river. Meanwhile, the entire area from where the bike was found was also searched thoroughly by the police and the higher police officials are monitoring the developments in connection with missing case of Shivang.
It is reliably learnt that the police have verified footages of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity yet it failed in locating the missing youth, who comes from a well off agrarian family. Although switched off, the mobile phone of Shivang is also under surveillance. Enquiry regarding the missing youth from his family members and friends too failed in yielding any fruitful results and the police have finally announced cash reward of Rs 10,000 for any information on Shivang.
