Christ Church Co-Ed School, Saliwada celebrated its 5th Founder’s Day recently. It was truly a memorable day as this glorious event coincided with Chairman and Moderator of CNI Synod, The Most Revered Dr. Prem Chand Singh’s Birthday. The day began at the Christ Church Cathedral where the students marched for the first time bearing the school flags and other representing houses. This is a time proven tradition of Christ Church Schools where the School Flags are blessed in the Church. In the church, the school staff dedicated a song to the School’s founder and students too sang a special song.
 
The Officiating Principal, Shitij Cyril Jacob, welcomed the Chief Guest, Bishop Samuel Kennady, President of the Bishop Arcot Lutheran Church who in turn gave a very memorable sermon. Later on, the School’s Chairman, Nora Singh and other dignitaries were invited to Christ Church Co-Ed School, Saliwada to partake in the Bithday Celebrations. The girl students performed a fervent prayer dance. The Officiating Principal, Shitij Cyril Jacob welcomed all the dignitaries.
 
Those who especially attended the function included Chairman, Bishop and Moderator, CNI Synod, His Grace, The Most Revered Dr. Prem Chand Singh, Nora Singh, First Lady, CNI & Director Vikas Asha Kendra, Piyush Paul Singh, Principal, Christ Church School for Boys and Girls, ISC, Bishop Samuel Kennady, President and Bishop, Arcot Lutheran Church, Bishop Johan Dang, Member, NCCI Working and Executive Committee, Bishop Paritosh Canning, Bishop, Diocese of Kolkata, Bishop Peter Baldev, Member, Bishop, Diocese of Lucknow, Bishop Manoj Charan, Member, Bishop, Diocese of Bhopal, Bishop Ajay James, Member, Bishop, Diocese of Chattisgarh, Sanjay Singh, Managing Director, UCNITA Synod and others. Following the tradition, Rev. Bruce Thangadurai auctioned the fruit basket, which was bought by BP Tiwari, Legal Advisor, Diocese of Lucknow. Most Rev Dr. P. C. Singh with other dignitaries offered a Thanksgiving prayer at the School’s Chapel and blessed the Principal and other staff.
