Director General (Artillery), New Delhi, Lieutenant General T K Chawla conducted inspection of Gun Carriage Factory and Vehicle Factory Jabalpur, on Tuesday. During the inspection at GCF, Lt Gen TK Chawla was accompanied by Munitions India Limited, Chairman cum Managing Director, Rajesh Choudhary (IOFS), General Manager, Deepak Gupta and Director, AK Mourya. DG (Artillery) conducted inspection of different sections of the factory and sought information about production of Dhanush – 155 guns. Thereafter, he chaired a meeting with senior officers and emphasized over bringing pace in production and supply of Dhanush to the Armed Forces. Thereafter, he reached at Vehicle Factory Jabalpur and visited the defence vehicles and photo exhibition.

 

He visited the photo exhibition and sought information about ongoing production works from senior officers. In second phase of the visit, colourful cultural programmes were organized under the head of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava programme being celebrated at the factory from December 13 to 19. On the occasion, VFJ, Officiating GM, Premchand, Additional GM, DN Verma, Joint GM, Manoj Kumar Mourya, Joint GM, Rameshwar Meena, Works Manager, Saurabh Agrawal, JWM, Shailendra Singh, Mohan Kumar Sahu and others were present.
