AS PER call given by Joint Forum of Trade Unions (JFTU) and Associations Public Sector General Insurance Companies, the constituents of JFTU organised human chain all over India to realise their demands. The public sector general insurance employees demands include Wage Revision, 1995 Pension Scheme to all, 30 per cent Uniform Family Pension, 14 per cent Management NPS contribution and urging the Government to repeal General Insurance Business (Nationalisation) Amendment Act 2021 (GIBNA). At Nagpur also human chain was organised during lunch hour in front of regional office of National Insurance Co Ltd situated at Sadar.
 
Public sector general insurance (PSGI) employees’ participated in the agitational programme of human chain holding posters and cards demanding saving and strengthening of public sector, merger of all four PSGI companies, immediate settlement of Wage Revision pending since August 2017 and opposing privatisation of PSGI companies and disinvestment in public sector. Posters/cards condemning Governments anti-public sector and anti-employees policy were also displayed by the employees. The aggrieved employees under the banner of JFTU decided to intensify struggle for their legitimate demands. PSGI employees will demonstrate all over the country on December 8 and December 15, 2021. Also one-day ‘Dharna’ would be organised on December 21, at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. For the success of agitational programme of human chain at Nagpur Rajendra Saroj, Mangesh Karanjkar, Yashpal Gajbhiye, Ashish Khutemate and Prashant Dixit have taken efforts.
