He started off by delivering fresh food directly to the customers homes and offices in 1993. At that time, there were very few players in the food delivery business and large organised players were non existent. “I always wanted to build a brand name for my company and carve a niche in the market. That has been acheived. Today, Jog Hospitality is synonymous with fresh quality food and quick delivery service,” said Narendra Jog in an exclusive interview with The Hitavada.
The role of Manjusha his wife is highly praisworthy as she has been managing the business shoulder to shoulder with him over the years and is instrumental in its success. His son Sahil also assists in the operations and is playing an important role. Currently, Jog Hospitality is one of dominant players in the food delivery and catering business in the city. On a daily basis, Jog Hospitality serves food to about 1,200 to 1,500 people at its restaurant, service apartments, dedicated marriage halls and hospitals, apart from the small functions and parties. In order to expand its footprints, he has established service apartments -- Jog Centre behind Pride Hotel and Jog House, Tatya Tope Nagar. All the high quality ingredients and fresh herbs are sourced from the local market and food is prepared inhouse at the Main Kitchen. The food is cooked in a clean and hygenic environment while following the standards set by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI).
