FOORQAN Rezvi came up with an all-round show that helped Nagpur Lawyers reach final of plate in the 33rd edition of All India Advocates Cricket Tournament. In the 35-overs tournament, Nagpur Lawyers defeated Odisha Lawyers by three wickets to book a berth in the final that will be played in Gujarat. Nagpur won the toss elected to field. Decent bowling by Foorqan Rezvi (2 wkts), Syed Shahid (2 wkts), Ashish Gawande (2 wkts) and Sanket Aasre (1 wkt) made life miserable for Odisha who managed to score 165 runs all out. Jitendra made 50 runs while Bhakti made 35 runs. Chasing 166, Nagpur reached the score in 31 overs losing seven wickets. Opener Rezvi top-scored with 47 while skipper Ashish Gawande made 28 runs and Sanket Aasre 27 runs. The team is sponsored and guided by Adv Prakash Naidu.
