Chairman of the Nagpur Nagarik Sahakari Bank Limited Sanjay Bhende said that the bank has registered growth despite challenges due to Covid-19. The bank has posted a profit of Rs 3.75 crore in the current financial year after paying taxes. He was addressing the 59th annual general body meeting of the bank held here recently. The total business mix of the bank in the fiscal is Rs 2,545 crore. During the lockdown period also, the bank had tried its level best to render financial services to its customers. Following all the Covid-9 guidelines, the bank conducted its general body meeting wherein Bhende highlighted various initiatives of the bank.
 
At the outset, Bhende expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for creating the Ministry of Cooperation. The share capital of the bank has seen growth of Rs 58.94 lakh while the deposits have grown by Rs 160 crore. The deposits of the bank in the fiscal were Rs 1694 crore and advances are Rs 851 crore. Apart from this, Bhende gave details of the social welfare activities undertaken by the bank in the fiscal. Vice-Chairman - Rajesh Lakhotiya; Directors - Ravindra Bokare, Ashok Agrawal, Nilkantharao Dewangan, Ramesh Pasari, Tushar Dable, Sanjay Thakar, Hemant Chafale, Anil Govindani, Supriya Puntambekar, Poonam Chandak and others were present on the occasion.
