Deepak Jain and Sanjay Jain secured maximum numbers of votes in elections for directors of Jabalpur Garment and Fashion Design Cluster Association, on Wednesday. The elections were successfully organised under the supervision of Election Officer, General Manager, District Trade and Industry Centre, Vinit Rajak. In the elections for six posts of directors, Deepak Jain obtained highest numbers of 147 votes while Sanjay Jain 107 votes, Prem Chand Paraswani 106 votes, Rajnish Agrawal 104 votes, Anoop Jain 93 votes, Virat Jain 81 votes, Ravi Vasvani 77 votes, Pradeep Jain 52 and Anurag Jain 35 votes. Total 10 nominations were received for the elections and one was withdrawn. Total 161 out of 199 members casted their votes and one vote was rejected.

 

Previous elections were held during 2015 and next elections were scheduled in 2018 which were abandoned due to death of election officer. Thereafter, the elections could not be carried out following the COVID-19 pandemic. Jabalpur Garment and Fashion Design Cluster Association’s members Shreyansh Jain, Sujit Jain, President of Jabalpur Garment Manufacturer Association, Sushil Jain, Pawan Adnani, Sanjay Budhrani, Mukesh Baghmar, Mukesh Patel and others congratulated the winning candidates.
