Medical experts during ongoing three-day fourth Workshop ‘Revised Basic Course Edcom’ are enriching medical students with moral values along with medical knowledge at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. The workshop is being organised to prepare Indian Medical Graduates as per guidelines issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
 
The second day of workshop was inaugurated by Incharge Dean, Medical Education Unit, NSCB Medical College, Dr. Sanjay Totde, Professor, Pathology Department. During second day of workshop, which is being organised at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, NSCB Medical College, the experts explained students how to work efficiently in the changing social parameters. They also talked about various techniques to be adopted to obtain desirable results in medical practice. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Totde emphasized over the need to understand and impose New Education with the coordination of medical teachers. Workshop Coordinator and Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, Dr. Kavita N Singh informed that main objective behind the ongoing workship is to transform medical students who were enrolled in 2019 batch into Competent Indian Medical Graduate as per NMC guidelines by enriching them with moral values with medical knowledge.
 
A total of 30 contestants are participating in the event. Three such workshops are already organised in the NSCB Medical College. The Resource Faculty of Medical Education including Dr. KK Gaur, Dr. Deeptiwala harma, Dr. Kavita Sachdeva, Dr. Shashi Prabha Tomar, Dr. Archana Singh, Dr. Monika Lazrus, Dr. Riti Jain, Dr. Neelam Topo, Dr. Ruchir Khare and others are delivering lectures on different topics. Dr. Praveen Arora is present as Observer in the workshop.
