Katni distt’s Kanak wins accolades at R-Day parade in New Delhi

Every NSS volunteer dreams to participate in the Republic Day Parade on Rajpath in New Delhi. Fulfilling her dream, NSS volunteer Kanak Soni from Government Tilak College returned back to the city. Soni is the first female volunteer from Katni district under Rani Durgavati University (RDU), who was selected for RDC camp held in New Delhi between January 1 to 31, 2021.
 
Kanak got the opportunity to meet the President of India, Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Vice-President of India, Venkaiah Naidu and after her return to Madhya Pradesh, she met Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Higher Education Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav. Kanak received a warm welcome by Vice-chancellor, Rani Durgavati University, Professor Kapil Deo Mishra, Registrar, Dr. Deepesh Mishra, Programme Co-ordinator, Professor Ashok Marathe, Dean Student Welfare, Professor Vivek Kumar Mishra
