MP HR Commission Head Justice Jain visits Sagar Central Jail

 

 

 

Former Chief Justice and Chairperson of the MP Human Rights Commisson, Justice Narendra Kumar Jain and member, MPHRC, Sarabjeet Singh visited Sagar recently and attended a programme organised on completion of two years of setting up of Acharya Vidyasagar Handloom Centre at Central Jail, Sagar.

 

This function was organised by Sakriya Samyak Darshan Sahkar Sangh, Jabalpur and Sakal Digambar Jain samaj, Sagar and Central Jail, Sagar. It may be mentioned that as a unique intiative in Central Jail Sagar, thread is behind made through handlooms in this centre and then cloth is made. On the occasion, the female prisoners who have shown good performance in this work were honoured by chief guest Justice Narendra Kumar Jain. Many male prisoner were also honored for their efforts.

 

Then Former Chief Justice and Chairperson, M.P Human Right Commission Justice Narendra Kumar Jain and member, MPHRC Sarabjeet Singh visited Central Jail campus and was happy with the activities. He assured that he would recommend such initiative to be taken in other jail also. . He asked that making of uniform of police, jail inmates should be started and was hopeful that central Jail, Sagar is moving towards ‘Atmanirbharta’. He appreciated the Central Jail superintendent and his team for their efforts.
