Participation of senior citizens Sharad Chandra Palan (88) and Meena Jain (70) in 39th walking competition proved a source of inspiration for all. The competition was organised under the banner of Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, Central Sports and Arts Council, on Saturday. Chief guest on the occasion was Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited, Senior Public Relation Officer, Rakesh Pathak while Central Sports and Arts Council, Secretary (Sports), Anil Kumar Alang and Secretary (Office), Alok Shrivastava were specially present.
 
More than 150 residents representing different age categories of men and women enthusiastically participated in the event. Lakhan Rahi, Chaman Agrawal, RP Pathak and Meena Jain and Lalita Singh participated in the above 75-year competition. Similarly, competitions of different age categories was organized for men and women while Musical Chair Race was organized for children in which Abhishek Giri, Himanshu Lade and Abhishek Verma won top three positions while Shweta Gupta, Manorama Patel and Asha Yadav won the competition of women category. Ajay Singh, RB Barman and Ramkumar Sharma won the competition of men category. Competition was successfully organised by Central Sports and Arts Council, Office In-charge, JW Kharpate, Shashikant Ojha, CP Jaiswal, Ravendra Verma, Subodh Dhande, JK Saravan, Pawan Patel and others. CSAC, Secretary (Art and Culture), Pankaj Swami convened the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
