President JCI Nagpur Medico, Dr Deepika Chandhok along with her Team of doctors with all the jingoism conducted a road traffic safety awareness program at the bank of Ambazari Lake. With the growing rate of road accidents in the country, traffic awareness has become the need of the hour. This program was conducted to create awareness amongst general population regarding road safety and the various traffic rules which should be followed.

 

The prime objective of this awareness program was to imbibe the importance of essential role of knowledge and awareness of traffic regulations. Chief guest was Padmashree Dr Vikas Mahatme, Member of Rajya Sabha who encouraged the efforts of doctors in carrying such an important awareness programe. Manish Kujekar, Past Zone president Zone IX was the guest of honour who enlightened the people by his words and praised the work done by doctors on all fronts .

 

After a zealous execution of program Dr Parul Saoji, Secretary delivered a vote of thanks. Earlier a creative Street Play was conducted by the JR JC Wing of JCI Nagpur Medico. A placard making competition was also held for the students along with Road Traffic Awareness Rally. The enthusiastic members with the galaxy of past presidents Dr Swati Sarda, Dr Viral Shah, Dr Sachin Deokar, Dr Smita Pakhmode took part in the road rally to create awareness.
