In another case, on complaint of wife, SCW to write USA embassy to revoke husband’s visa
State Commission for Women (SCW) has constituted a two-member committee of doctors, namely Dr Sandeep Dave and Dr Rakesh Gupta to probe atrocities with a lady doctor posted at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raipur. SCW Chairperson Dr Kiranmayai Nayak heard a case filed by a lady doctor of the AIIMS with the SCW. The lady doctor alleged that her subordinate doctor is mentally harassing her.
 
The members of the committee will examine the complaint and verify its medical terminology in this case. After examining the case, the committee will submit its opinion to the SCW within two months. SCW Chairperson Dr Kiranmayi Nayak heard another case lodged by a wife against her husband, who is working in United States of America.
 
In the complaint, the woman alleged that her husband used to torture and left her in a helpless State in America. During the hearing, the husband and his family members were absent. Chairperson Dr Nayak asked the complainant to submit visas, passport and other necessary documents related to her husband so that the Commission could write a letter to USA embassy to revoke his visa. Other various cases related to women atrocities, dowry and others were heard.
