Busy freight loading point at Jabalpur division.

West Central Railway (WCR) has earned accolades from the Railway Board for record freight transportation. In this year, the WCR have accomplished 4.19 Million Tonn freight transport and Jabalpur division of WCR has earned revenue of Rs 216 crore which is higher in comparison to previous year. For the record loading of freight on freight trains by the Jabalpur Division the Railway Board Officiating Secretary and Member Traffic, Punendra S. Mishra has written a letter to the Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Mukul Sharan Mathur and appreciated the ongoing development. In this regard Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Vishwa Ranjan informed that due to afore said record loading the Jabalpur division transported around 2.75 million ton freight from Jabapur and earned revenue around Rs 216 crore which is higher than previous year.
Ranjan added that in 27 good sheds and 35 sidings in January 2021 the recorded 2.75 million ton freight loaded and transported from Jabalpur. As per the orders of Principal Chief Commercial Manger, Mukul Sharan Mathur at all the loading points the works related to the loading are being carried out on priority basis. He added that from Jabalpur division load of Coal is very less while load of Clinker, Iron Ore, Food Grain containers, Commodity freight have created this record.
