Bhopal Cyber Crime Branch Police have arrested a 31-year-old member of an online fraud gang, from New Delhi, who duped a youth of Rs 82,000 in Bhopal. According to police reports, few days back, Sandeep Kumar Yadav had filed a complaint of an online fraud. The complainant told the police that he received a call and the accused posing as a bank official has said that Yadav needed to update his credit card. After Yadav told the accused his credit card number, he received an OTP, which he shared with the fraudster.
 
After this, the complainant received a message that Rs 81,550 were debited from his account. Thus, Yadav realised that he has been defrauded. He reached the police station and lodged a complaint. During investigation, it came to the fore that the accused was from New Delhi. A team of cyber crime branch police reached New Delhi and nabbed the accused on Saturday night. The accused was identified as Furqan Khan (31) who told the cops that he along with his partners make defraud people online. The accused told the cops that his job in this fraud was to divide money equally, deduct the commission, and to distribute among his partners. The police have begun search for other partners of the accused.
