Shweta Rai, connected with Direction in film production of Hollywood and a writer, called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Mantralaya on Monday. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told her that promotion is being given to film making in Madhya Pradesh. This will also help development tourism and other business activities. He added that in films, importance has been given to women empowerment. In present time also, women have given introduction of their leadership and working capacity to achieve the achievements. In this regard, he spoke about Self Help Groups of women who made masks and sanitisers during corona period and thus played an important role in preventing huge chunk of population from pandemic.

 

Shewta Rai informed that she made a film by keeping in mind ten main women of world. Dr Somya Swaminathan and Swati Rawal are among them. Dr Somya has been associated with production of COVID vaccine. Swati Rawal is first woman pilot. CM praised the effort of Shewta Rai in this regard and assured that appropriate action will be taken on film project proposal of Shewta. Notably, Shweta Rai is from Kymore in Katni district. She graduated from Bhopal’s Government Excellence College and did Masters from America.

 

She assisted well-known film makes of Hollywood in various films in last ten years. One of the films made by her was nominated for Oscar award. She lives in Los Angeles. “A Pandemic Away From The Mother Lands” is well known film of her. She is founder of Indo-Holly Films and CEO. She says that girls born in simple family can also achieve success. MLA Sanjay Pathak and parents of Shweta Rai were also present on this occasion.
