Senior office-bearers of various employees’ unions of the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation, on Monday, submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner and Superintendent of Police demanding fair inquiry into the suicide of JMC employee of Garha division.

 

They said all employees would go on strike if unwarranted legal action was taken against the CSI, Ward Supervisor or other officer of Garha Zone under any political pressure. They said all concerned officials have performed their duties on the direction of senior officials.

 

An employee of JMC’s Garha Zone recently committed suicide. He allegedly had some heated talk with officials, who on the direction of seniors, asked the employee to deposit Log Book. Senior office-bearers of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Takniki Adhikari Karmachari Sangh, AJJAKS, Madhya Pradesh Nagar Nigam Nagar Palika Karmachari Sangh, Chalak Sangh and others said the JMC employees would go on strike if any legal action was taken against officers of Garha Zone. Union leaders present included Ram Dubey, Amit Mehra, Rakesh Samundre, Anil Tiwari, Rajendra Patel, Santosh Gautam and others.
