NAGPUR’S Ananmay Jayaswal has been selected as net bowler for Chennai Super Kings for the upcoming 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) that begins at Chennai’s MA Chidambram Stadium on April 9. The medium fast bowler from city will test among other batsmen none other than skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In fact, it was Dhoni who noticed Jayaswal’s skills while he was undergoing training with the Royal Cricket Academy.
Under the able guidance of coach Mohatshim Ansari, Jayaswal came out with flying colours taking eight wickets in five Inter-Academy One-Day matches for Royal Cricket Academy. The tourney was organised by Vidarbha Cricket Academy. At present, Chennai Super Kings are having their practice sessions in Mumbai and Jayaswal is impressing one and all with his skills.
