CITY’S Dr Anand Babulal Yadav won gold medal in 21st National Sqay Martial Arts Championships that concluded at Jagannath University Indoor Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan, recently. The event was organised under the banner of Sqay Federation of India. Yadav’s top performance came in the khawank sqay kata category for 26 year age group players. As many as 650 players representing 27 states took part in the mega event.
For his excellent effort, Yadav was felicitated by Dr Rajat Raju Dhole, Director of Rajat Clinic and Aayush International Medical Association. Dr Yadav credits his success to Sqay Association of Maharashtra’s Deputy Grand Master and DGH’s General Secretary Master Ravindra Gayki. Prakash Yadav, Babu Pohankar and Dinesh Raut were among those who were present during the felicitation function.
