ARANG,
Urban Administration Minister Dr Shivkumar Dahariya on Tuesday inspected several infrastructural works in Arang Vidhan Sabha. Minister Dr Dahariya tried his hands on a scooter to observe the works going on in narrow alleyways of the villages. People used to watch Minister rolling in a car were up for surprise when the car was replaced by a two-wheeler. Minister inspected a road concretization through the narrow aisles. As the street was too narrow for car, Minister walked for some distance and then borrowed a scooter from one local youth.
He inspected the works related to sanitation, road construction, community buildings, light, gym etc and later talked to the local public representative and common citizens. Abhanpur MLA Dhanendra Sahu on Tuesday performed bhoomipujan for the Bhalera diversion revival and canal lining work. A total of Rs 1.28 crores has been earmarked for the project. The event was held in the presence of Gram Panchayat Bhalera Sarpanch Meena Chandrakumar Sahu.
MLA Dhanendra Sahu addressed the villagers, saying that it was long-standing demand of the villagers, but for some reason it wasn’t getting the approval. But, he finally managed to clear it after a consistent correspondence with the administration and government. It is good news for the farmers. The programme was also attened by Joint General Secretary District Congress Committee Raipur Rural Ashutosh Tiwari, Daman Sahu, Deepika Jangde, Hulas Sahu, Pawan Patel, Biselal Sahu, Bhuneshwar Sahu and others.
