To motivate public to go for free Corona vaccination, the Field Outreach Bureau Jabalpur initiated an extensive awareness programme on corona vaccination drive on Wednesday. A mobile tableau has been flagged off by Swasth-Rakshak, Sheikh Afroz at Tehsili Chowk for creating corona awareness. It may be mentioned that the second phase of Corona Vaccination Drive has been started from March 1, 2021. Now it's turn for common public to render their contribution to root out COVID-19 by receive vaccine shots which are freely administered at the vaccination centers established at the government and private hospitals.

 

Assistant Director, Field Outreach Bureau, Varsha Shukla Pathak informed that the mobile tableau will visit in rural areas of the district to aware and motivate villagers to come forward to receive vaccine shots. Simultaneously, slogan writing is being carried out through wall painting in the urban areas. Posters and pamphlets are being distributed to convey the message regarding protection against COVID-19. cultural activities will also be staged by the drama groups during the six-day awareness drive.

 

Along with creating awareness for vaccination, Self-Reliant and Swastha Bharat, common public are also being appealed not to heed rumours regarding vaccine. Along with downloading the app, common public are being advised to visit vaccination centers for registration and strictly follow all safety protocols including regular hand wash, use of sanitizer and mask and maintaining social distance.
