Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) is making every effort to top in the Swachh Survekshan-2021. Under this campaign, 42 drains of the city have been cleaned. After the removal of garbage from such Bhanpur Khanti, it was scientifically executed. While renovating the landfill site located in Adampur Chawni, it was designed in such a way that people can now play cricket here. A match was organised on the same site of Adampur Landfill on Sunday morning by making a cricket pitch in which officials-employees of the Municipal Corporation, District Administration as well as media persons participated.
During this match, Bhopal Collector Avinash Lavania was also seen showing his skills in batting. At the same time, the message of cleanliness was also given to the people who attended the program. After the match, Collector Avinash Lavania presented the award winning team with a trophy. Municipal Corporation officials and general public have played Badminton in the drain of Vijay Market. The central team can come to Bhopal for the survey in this week. As part of the cleanliness drive these initiatives are being done .On the other hand, the Adampur Chawni landfill site is also in the process of proper disposal of waste.
New Garbage transfer stations are also being built in the city. It has to be mentioned that hundreds of tons of garbage used to come daily on 32 acres of land, but the Bhopal municipal corporation has cleared the garbage from 20 acres of land. Earlier, waste has also been removed from Bhanpur Khanti and now Up to 20 tonnes of garbage is being cleaned daily in Adampur Chawni. This all steps is being taken under the Swachh Survekshan - 2021. Municipal Corporation officials are also regularly updating the development work at Adampur Chawni and are making daily efforts to check the disposal of garbage.
