IMT, Nagpur organises international meet on ‘Role of HR in new normal’

Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur has organised an international conference on ‘Role of HR in the new normal.’ The inaugural session began with a welcome address by Dr Vikramaditya Ekkirala, conference co-chair and a senior faculty in the area of OB and HRM, followed by some words of encouragement by Dr P Janaki Ramudu, Dean Academics. The session witnessed a keynote address by Dr Rajeev Sharma from Charles Darwin University. The guest of honour of the conference was Dr Murali Padmanabhan, Senior Vice-President, Global Talent and OD with Virtusa Corporation.
 
The conference was divided into four tracks, in two-time slots running simultaneously. Each track consisted of presentations from academicians, researchers, Ph.D scholars, management practitioners and consultants from IIM Kashipur, S P Jain Institute of Management, IIFT Delhi, among others. The presentations were followed by quick questions and feedback by the track chairs who were faculty members of the institute. The conference concluded successfully with a valedictory session where Dr Sarabjit Singh, Professor at IMT Nagpur announced the best research paper from each track.
 
Neha R Tiwari and Dr Hardik Shah from Nirma University, Mansi Kapoor from Quadrature Capital Private Limited, Dr Richa Khanna from School of Human Ecology, TISS Mumbai and Neha Suri from IIFT, Delhi won from their respective tracks. Dr Saleena Khan, Professor at IMT Nagpur and conference chair, gave the vote of thanks and congratulated everyone on the successful execution of the conference.
