Effective plan will be developed for corona control: Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that in view of spread of corona pandemic in State, all efforts are being made to make arrangements for treatment and control through public awareness. In order to face this disaster and challenge effectively, suggestions are being sought from senior doctors, people from medical field and those with vast experience in mass communication and people connected to medical and nursing home association and public concerns. He was attending a meeting of State-level advisory committee formed for control of corona infection, through video conference from his residence on Thursday.

He said that an effective action plan will be developed for the control of corona infection based on suggestions of advisory committee. Those who attended the meeting include Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, K G Suresh, Senior Journalist Sharad Dwivedi, CII Madhya Pradesh Chairman Saurabh Sangla, Kshetra Sangathan Mantri of Seva Bharti Bhopal Ramendra Singh, Madhya Pradesh Nursing Home Association State President Dr Jitendra Jamdar, AIIMS Bhopal Director Dr Sarman Singh, State President of Indian Medical Association Dr Anoop Nigam, Dr Nishant Khare (Indore) and Dr Rajesh Sethi, Dr Abhijit Deshmukh and Dr S P Dubey of Bhopal. CM informed about activities being conducted by State Government for control and public awareness regarding Corona infection in video conference.
 
Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman gave a presentation on status of Corona infection in state. Important suggestions regarding management of Corona infection were given by committee members. Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi stated the need to change thinking of society for management of corona infection and awareness in this regard. He said that for this there is need to develop an effective mass communication strategy in this connection.
