More barricades have been placed in many areas in the city to curb traffic. Barricades have been placed on main roads and narrow regions in containment zones of Kolar, Shahpura and Govindpura. In MP Nagar, access to main areas to zones 1 and 2 has been restricted. In Sant Hirdaram Nagar, the major intersections have been barricaded, big barricades were also placed on small squares and streets.

 

 

 

This has almost completely stopped the movement. The biggest problem is causing people who are moving out of the house or going for compulsory services due to medical emergency as they have to take longer route to reach into destination. Barricades have also been kept in Dr Bhambhani Road and nearby small streets. After the implementation of the Corona Curfew in Bhopal, police teams have been deployed at major intersections 24x7 to curb traffic movement. People have to reach shops by taking a long detour.

 

Police closed all the intersections including Bairagarh Bus Stand, Chanchal Road, Nirankari Mandal Road, Sarafa Bazar. Only five service routes have been kept open. In Kolar area the road has been closed in front of Chunna Bhatti and Bhoj University in the capital. The two-way access to Sarvadham Bridge road has been closed and only limited access to commuters of essential services are being allowed.
