Memu train flagged off from Bina Rly Station

On the first day of Memu train of Jabalpur Railway Board, a total of 120 passengers took their first ride and expressed happiness on hygiene arrangements and high-speed of the train. The memu train no. 06621 was flagged from Bina station to Katni Murwara on Tuesday. Many passengers from Bina station boarded the memu train. A total of 34 passengers boarded the train from Khurai railway station, 19 passengers boarded from Sagar station, and 6 passengers boarded from Damoh station.

After stopping at 30 stations, the train reached Katni Murwara at 3 pm. The passengers were with their first ride. At 7 pm, the train will return back to Bina via Sagar route. Speaking on the occasion, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vishwaranjan said that memu train would prove to be beneficial to passengers. He has requested the passengers to wear a facemask, and maintain physical distancing throughout the journey.
 
He warned that passengers entering the railway station without a mask and ticket would be penalised. ‘Strict action against passengers with waiting ticket’ To maintain physical distancing while traveling inside trains, the authorities of Western Central Railway (WCR) have started taking strict action against passengers having waiting ticket. The passengers having a confirm ticket or RAC ticket are allowed to enter Jabalpur Railway Station. Additionally, passengers whose one ticket is confirmed out of four and 2 tickets are confirmed out of there are allowed to travel. As a result, waiting ticket holders have flocked to Platform No.1 of main station. There are some passengers who are staying at passenger waiting rooms from last 2 -3 days waiting for their tickets to be confirmed.
