Alert cops save many lives at Galaxy Hospital

Prompt working of Jabalpur police saved lives of several patients after five COVID-19 patients died due to shortage of oxygen supply at Galaxy Hospital in the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
Ruckus was created at Galaxy Hospital when oxygen supply stopped and backup oxygen system failed where around 26 COVID-19 patients were admitted on oxygen support at around 1 am on Friday.
Learning about the incident, police officers including CSP, Kotwali Deepak Mishra, CSP, Gorakhpur, Alok Sharma, SHO, Madan Mahal, Neeraj Verma, SHO, Lordganj, Prafull Shrivastava, SHO, Kotwali, Anil Gupta, SHO, Vijay Nagar, Soma Malik along with police teams reached the spot. Dedicated policemen managed to ensure supply of oxygen cylinders for uninterrupted supply to other patients. Policemen loaded the oxygen cylinders from supply depot and unloaded it at Galaxy Hospital and saved many critical COVID-19 patients.
Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna (IPS) monitored the situation throughout the night and appreciated working of police officers and personnel of different police stations for their timely action and saving lives of other patients. He informed that police supplied oxygen cylinders at Galaxy Hospital within 30 minutes of receiving the information.
