Phase -III witnesses 98% attendance
Since students expressed their inability to collect the admit cards, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has postponed the Phase-IV examinations those were to resume on April 25.
Meanwhile, the university has witnessed no untoward incident in the examinations of Phase III that would conclude on Saturday. The attendance of students in all three phases was over 98%. The Phase-III of examinations had began on April 15 and would end on Saturday.
The Winter 2020 examination began on March 25. The examination is being conducted in four phases some by university and some by colleges.
Most colleges conducted their examinations in a very scrupulous manner. The allegations were made that colleges would conduct the examinations in a way to have the good results
Phase-IV examinations was to begin on April 25 and conclude on May 5, 2021. Regular and ex-students of UG Program conducted by University level and partly at College/Department level were to appear in the
examinations including Semester I of Four Year courses other than students admitted through centralised admission process, Semester III of Five Year Courses, Semester I of Five Year Courses other than students admitted through centralised admission process, Semester I of one year Diploma and Degree.
In Phase -III the examinations were conducted include Semester I of Three Year Courses other than students admitted through centralized admission process, Semester III of Four Year Courses, Semester V of Five Year Courses.
PET registration date postponed
The PhD Cell of RTMNU that looks after MPhil and PhD Programmes Entrance Test (PET) for the aspiring qualified candidates has decided to postpone the PET registration date. Considering the present situation caused due to COVID-19 pandemic, it has been decided by the authorities to extend the date for registration of PET examination till May 8, 2021. Last date for submission of hard copy of application form along with relevant documents preferably by Post/courier/ by hand (after 03.05.2021) is extended till May 15, 2021. The date for online PET examination will be announced afterward, considering the situation of COVID-19 pandemic and guidelines issued by the state government and local authorities.
