THE Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has extended its compliments to some of the premier industrialists of the country and chiefs of public sector undertakings (PSUs) who have provided medical oxygen at this crucial juncture of COVID. CAIT National President B C Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal in a joint statement said, “At the instance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several industrialists lent their most valued cooperation for arranging uninterrupted supplies of medical oxygen.
The leading industrialists of the country Mukesh Ambani, Chairman, Reliance Industries Limited, Ratan Tata of Tata Group, Naveen Jindal, Chairman of Jindal Steel, Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Group, Madhav Vaidya, Chairman of Indian Oil Limited, K Padmakar, Chairman, Bharat Petroleum, Soma Mondal, Chairman, Steel Authority of India Limited, Sajjan Jindal of JSW and others who have played a commendable role.
The trade leaders, Bhartia and Khandelwal said that the industrialists have proved that they are the sons of the soil and have come forward to help the country at a time when everyone was worried with the shortage of medical oxygen in the country. Bhartia and Khandelwal jointly said, “We might have some differences with corporate India but at a time when these people have stood up for the nation, extending gratitude to them is all the more necessary.”
