Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that large oxygen plants should be set up in all divisional headquarters of state. He instructed officers to take immediate action in this regard. He was addressing a review meeting with core group from residence through video conference on Tuesday. Members of the Covid Core committee, ministers and officials attended the meeting online.
 
CM said that pace of infection has come down in state. Experience in state and other regions of country has taught that wherever public curfew is strictly followed, there has been a decline in rate of infection. He asked the public representatives to lead the people to implement the Janata Curfew strictly for next 10 days. He instructed to prepare the programme for vaccination based on number of persons over 18 years of age and availability of vaccination doses per day for carrying out the vaccination work in a planned manner. He said that pace of vaccination of persons above 45 years of age, health workers and frontline workers should not be reduced.
 
He instructed to explore possibilities of setting up vaccination centres in places other than hospitals. He said that a provision of a large amount will be made in forthcoming budget to make the basic health facilities more robust in the state. He said that availability of oxygen in state is continuously increasing. For proper use of oxygen, it is necessary to carefully analyze the amount received and used. He said that arrangements should be made on the basis of tankers’ capacity and transportation period. It should be ensured when the tanker arrives at the filling station, so that there is no delay in its filling.
