Stone laid for several devpt projects in Katni district

 

 

 

On completion of one year of the Madhya Pradesh Government, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave many gifts to the State through the State-level Mission Earth Programme organised at Minto Hall. During this time, a big gift was also given to Katni district by him. Chief Minister Chouhan also laid the virtual foundation stone of the 132/33 KV Dhimarkheda sub-centre to be set up in Dhimarkheda area in the district by the MP Power Transmission Company Limited.

 

The sub-centre will be constructed at a cost of more than Rs 49 crore. District level programme was organised in the district panchayat under Mission Earth on Saturday. The programme started with Kanya Pujan. During this programme, President of District Panchayat, Mamta Patel, District BJP President, Ramratan Payal, Shahdol MP’s representative, Padmesh Gautam, District Panchayat member, Pragati Rai started the programme by garlanding portriat of Goddesss Saraswati and lighting the traditional lamp and performed Kanya Pujan.

 

The live telecast of the State-level programme from Minto Hall of Bhopal was also watched and heard in the district-level programme. During this period, information was also given about the power sub-centre laid by the Chief Minister by the officers of the Electricity Department. Officers said that after the establishment of this sub-centre, four feeders from Umariapan, Dasharaman, Siloondi and Dhimarkheda will be added. About 24,000 consumers of 155 villages will get help in the supply of high quality power. About 1.40 lakh people will be benefitted from it.

 

Through this sub-centre, electricity will also be supplied to the industries to be set-up in future in Gudwari. On this occasion, CEO of District Panchayat, Jagdish Chandra Gome, SE of Madhya Pradesh East Region Power Distribution Company, LP Khatik, EE DK Soni, Additional CE, Durgesh Parashar and EE CS Thakur and public representatives and officers were present.
