On the occasion of party’s Foundation Day, BJP State President V D Sharma participated in a programme organised at booth number 238 in Aamchopra in Damoh on Tuesday. He said that from ‘Panch’ till PM, there is no post where there is no BJP. He told that the country could not be run through dynasty system and BJP has proven this. “Our leadership has come from a poor house. Son of a poor mother is PM of the country and another is CM of the state. A simple booth president is party’s national president and even booth president can become country’s Home Minister. It’s only possible in BJP to rise to a new high from a small level.
BJP is a party of workers and leadership will emerge from these party workers. Making a scathing attack on Congress, he told that Congress gave Bharat Ratna to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi but not to BR Ambedkar. It was BJP which gave Bharat Ratna to Dr B R Ambedkar.
Its BJP which developed places connected with Dr BR Ambedkar as ‘Panch Teerth’. He told that from its Foundation Day till Ambedkar Jayanti, BJP will do works related to social and creative works. Sharma also appealed to the party workers to follow social distancing and do works related to welfare of poor people and awareness. He also appealed to the party workers to do work of mask distribution and to make people follow social distancing in wake of corona disease. Earlier, he garlanded portraits of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukerjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
