In a bid to motivate people to wear mask to avoid coronavirus infection in State, Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Chhattisgarh unit has launched ‘Mask Pahno Chhattisgarh’ campaign at State Congress party office Rajiv Bhawan on Friday.
 
Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CPCC) In-charge General Secretary Chandrashekhar Shukla and IYC Chhattisgarh State President Purnachand Coco Padhi inaugurated the ‘Mask Pahno Chhattisgarh’ campaign. IYC Chhattisgarh unit President Purnachand Coco Padhi informed that 1.5 lakh masks would be distributed in all districts of State in the first phase of the campaign.
 
The IYC workers will distribute masks at district headquarters, Assembly constituencies and booth-levels, he added. The IYC State President said that the IYC has taken this initiative for distribution of masks ahead of third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Purnachand Coco Padhi said that the IYC workers are motivating people to wear mask to avoid coronavirus infection.
 
IYC National Spokesman Subodh Haritwal, National Secretary Milind Gautam, In-charge General Secretary Ashraf Husain, General Secretary Guljeb Ahmed, Raipur district President Swapnil Mishra, State Secretary Vivek Agrawal, Abhijeet Tiwari, Ashish Chandrakar, Vishal Rajani, Cheenu Pandey and other leaders were present on the occasion.
