Sameer Dad assumes charge as coach of MP Hockey Academy

After getting appointed as Madhya Pradesh State Men’s Hockey Academy Coach, Olympian Sameer Dad took charge on the other day. He reached TT Nagar Stadium and paid a cordial visit to Director, Sports and Youth Welfare Pawan Jain. After welcoming Sameer Dad, Pawan Jain said that not only State but also Indian Team will get benefited from the experience of former Olympian. He hoped that under the guidance of Sameer Dad, many national and international players will get training and will make State and country pride through their worthy performances. Joint Director Dr Vinod Pradhan, B S Yadav and other officials, hockey players and sports lovers have congratulated Sameer Dad on becoming coach of Madhya Pradesh State Men’s Hockey Academy Coach.
 
Expressing his gratitude to well wishers, Sameer Dad said that hockey is his passion and his target will be that Madhya Pradesh players should represent India in Olympics and should realise the dream of Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia. Sameer Dad is a renowned name in hockey world and he had played in many national and international matches. Air India has given services of Sameer Dad on deputation to Sports Department and Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia played a vital role in this regard. Now, Sameer Dad will teach the nuances of hockey to State hockey players.
