‘‘More traffic on website will increase business’

MIDC Industries Association (MIA) Hingna and GIZ India recently conducted a free webinar on the topic ‘Leveraging your website to generate profits’. The expert speaker for the session was Shishant Mahato, professional digital marketing trainer having trained over 1,500 professionals across India and founder of ‘Digital Magnet’. “More traffic on the website will ultimately lead to more profits for the business,” said Shishant Mahato, the keynote speaker of the session. He further said, “A well-designed website is one of the important aspects for a brand’s online presence and growth. Hence, more focus should be on developing a good website keeping user experience and conversion at the foremost.” He further said that it is essential for businesses today to have an online presence. Also, they can leverage the online space for the benefit of the brand.
 
The first topic of the webinar was ‘The flow of website’, he explained how a website should be designed especially by businesses to attract and convert customers in purchasing their products or services. He also explained the role of website automation using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to interact and engage with the online audience which includes Auto Messenger, Auto Emails, etc. He also said that the website visitors can be retargeted for conversion into business. Dr Ravindra Aher, Consultant - GIZ India thanked the speaker for the informative and interesting presentation. He introduced the online participants to the speaker, Shishant Mahato and shared his professional background. He said that Mahato is also associated with prestigious institutions like MCED, MSSDS and online learning platforms like Upgrad, SimpliLearn and Udemy as expert faculty. He is also known world over for his training video on ‘Advanced Facebook Marketing’.
 
The ‘Digital Marketing’ webinar series has been developed and planned with a keen focus on businesses and MSMEs and to help them explore the digital space for the benefit of their brands, he added. Aher highlighted that the webinar series on various topics for industries and MSMEs will be delivered as per the current market needs by expert speakers on a regular basis throughout the month. A question-answer session was also conducted. Participants from various sectors and across the country gave a good response to the webinar.
