Weapon instructor Vivek Rana winning accolades on foreign soil

 

 

Vivek Singh Rana has made the country proud by representing India on the international stage and setting many records. He has registered his name in International Book of Records, Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records after becoming a Weapon Instructor on Foreign soil. On successfully completing rigorous weapon training, he was conferred National Diploma for this accomplishment by the Italian Government organisation, Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) and its subsidiary body MSP-Italia.

 

Vivek’s early education took place in Chhapra Central School. After this, he completed bachelors in engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technological University (RGTU), Bhopal, and then went to Russia for higher education. He did his Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Russia and earned the prestigious ‘Red Degree.’ During his tenure in Russia, he worked continuously to strengthen India-Russia bilateral education and military relations. He has also been honoured by the Indian Embassy-Moscow, DRDO, HAL, etc for his services.

 

Currently, Vivek holds European Commission’s Marie Sklodowska Curie Fellowship, which is considered one of the most competitive and prestigious fellowships all over the globe and undoubtedly best one in Europe. He is working as Marie Sklodowska Curie researcher for Horizon 2020 ambitious project PhilHumans, with a soaring high budget of 2.13 million (euros). Alongside he renders his services as a weapon instructor in Italy and imparts knowledge beyond borders. People who know Vivek believe that his spirit of nation’s service remains an inspiration for many today.
