Administrative Building Main Gate of KTUJM named after Sant Kabir

 

 

The main gate of the administrative building of Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication (KTUJM) was named after Sant Kabir and now it will be known as Sant Kabir Dwar, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made an announcement on Thursday during a virtual event organised to mark Sant Kabir Jayanti. Addressing the programme, Chief Minister said that the glory of Sant Kabir is well-known to all in Chhattisgarh. He was a great poet and social reformer who strongly opposed the social evils throughout his life.

 

He also released a book titled ‘Sant Kabir Ka Chhattisgarh’ edited by Kabir Vikas Sanchar Adhyayan Kendra president Kunal Shukla and Dr Sudhir Sharma. Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said that Sant Kabir taught us how to live a simple life, so that we lead the path of truth and honest. Agriculture Minister Ravindra Choubey said that people coming from outside settling down here because of the love and affection of people here who are highly influenced by the philosophy of Sant Kabir. Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation chairman Girish Dewangan, KTUJM Vice-Chancellor Baldeo Bhai Sharma, Registrar Dr Anand Shankar Bahadur and staff of the KTUJM were present on the occasion.
