Members of the Sampoorna Brahmin Manch have started a massive protest against registration of cases under SC/ST Act without any investigation. This was decided in an important meeting of Brahmin Samaj on the occasion of Vishwa Brahmin Diwas chaired by National President, Amit Khamparia and National General Secretary, Dr Arun Mishra. During the meeting, senior office-bearers remembered the contributions of lord Parshuram, Acharya Chanakya, Mangal Pandey and other eminent personalities of Brahmin community on the occasion of Vishwa Brahman Diwas. They expressed their disappointment over increasing numbers of fake cases being registered against community persons under SC/ST Act without conducting any investigation.

 

It was informed that Dr. Shivam Mishra of Sidhi was compelled in a face case of SC/ST Act without any investigation. Annoyed and helpless with his insult, Dr. Mishra had committed suicide but later the court had found him innocent and dismissed the fake case. The incident proved that some persons are trying to take unnecessary advantage of legal provisions of SC/ST Act and compelling innocent persons in fake cases. On the occasion, members have declared to register a strong protest and give court arrest against registering FIR in SC/ST cases without investigation. Kashi Tiwari, Dhananjay Bajpai, Ravendra Tiwari, Ankit Tiwari and others were present during the meeting.
