JMC and Smart City officials planting saplings on World Environment Day.

A plantation programme was organised under the joint aegis of Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Jabalpur Smart City Limited on World Environment Day. Chief Executive Officer Nidhi Singh Rajput, Additional Commissioner Parmesh Jalote, Assistant Commissioner Ekta Agarwal, Assistant Administrative Officer Shailja Sullare along with a number of artists of the city participated in the programme and planted saplings in Madan Mahal, Devtal, Gwarighat Ashram and Nehru Garden. Senior officials and others planted more than 200 saplings of different species of fruit and shade plants.
Municipal Commissioner Sandeep G R in his message said it is very important to keep the earth green. He made an appeal to everyone to celebrate this day regularly and plant saplings. Sandeep G R said the Municipal Corporation is toiling hard to make the city clean and green and provide pollution free environment to the denizens. Artists of All Indian Artists Association Vijay Banshkar, Kishore Raut and others participated. Shailja Sullare, Sachin Raut, Manisha Tiwari, Aarti Nagle, Anjali Raut of Smart City took a pledge of plantation, environment conservation.
