KTM Khamla Square, C/o Arun Automobiles on Monday unveiled the Chetak Electric. The new wheeler was unveiled at the hands of Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari. Vijay Patni, J P Gupta, Ajay Patni, Karan Patni, Kunal Patni and others were present on the occasion. Customers can also book their test drives of the Chetak at KTM Khamla Square Nagpur. The company will be accepting registrations for the Chetak via its online portal www.chetak.com. Chetak is the only two-wheeler EV currently with a steel body, a solid gear drive and striking looks with a beautiful neo-classical design.
The vehicle is available in Urbane and Premium as two variants along with a variety of colours and class-leading features. Chetak needs minimal maintenance with a service interval of 12,000 kilometres or one year (whichever is earlier) and comes with an overall warranty of 3 years or 50,000 kilometres (whichever is earlier) inclusive of the Lithium-Ion battery.
