A delegation of Nag Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce (NVCC) recently urged the Divisional Railway Manager of South East Central Railway, Nagpur Maninder Uppal to resume the operation of Tatanagar Passenger train at the earliest. While submitting a memorandum in this regard, the representatives of the Chamber including Farooque Akbani, Vice-President of the chamber, Umesh Patel, Joint Secretary; and Pratap Motwani, Convenor Railway Committee of the Chamber and ZRUCC Member of South East Central Railway, highlighted that the many passengers have been suffering due to non-availability of the train which connects Nagpur to many important destinations.
They further said that it is also affecting the traders. Maninder Uppal said he would take all possible steps to start the train as soon as possible. For the past many days, the railway authorities have suspended the operations of Tatanagar Passenger trains connecting Nagpur to various cities in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Bihar and Bengal.
