Four tigers sitting together in Satpura Tiger Reserve

Satpura Tiger Reserve (STR) is becoming popular for its tiger conservation plans and dense population of big cats. On Wednesday, four tigers were spotted together art one place by tourist that made the people excited. Population of tiger is continuously rising in the reserve. While during Census 2020 there were 47 tigers in the reserve, now there are more than 52 tigers. Experts said that Satpura jungle has sufficient food and appropriate habitat for animals. The reserve officials said that this has happened for the first time when four tigers spotted together taking rest. They said that all the four tigers belong to same family and they were taking rest after killing prey.
They said each tiger of reserve represents his own area and they do not interfere others territory. After witnessing other cat in his territory, the tiger attack him. For the first timer tourists witnessed four adult tigers together that made them surprised. When first guards and officers deployed on duty witnessed the four tigers, they changed their camera angel but tigers started roaring. When forest guards left the place, tigers again started taking rest. L Krishnamurthy, Field Director of STR, said that due to monsoon tourism activities is almost closed in the reserve and people will get nod to visit the reserve from October 1. “Four tigers were spotted together and this made the tourist excited. We are making all efforts for better tiger conservation and safety to the wildlife.”
