NELSON Hospital launched its Neurosciences Centre at Dhantoli, behind ‘The Hitavada’ Press on Saturday. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Nelson Neurosciences Centre in the presence of Datta Meghe, Chancellor, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (DMIMS). On the occasion, present were Sagar Meghe, Trustee, DMIMS, Sameer Meghe, MLA Hingna, Dr C E Deopujari, Past President, NSI, IndSPN, MCNS, Dr Lokendra Singh, President, Neurological Society of India, Dr Milind Deogaonkar, USA, Renowned Functional Neurosurgery Specialist, Dr Sanjay Ramteke, Senior Consultant Neurologist and Dr Satish Deopujari, Senior Consultant Paediatrician and Chairman of Academic Council, Nelson Hospital. The department of Neurosciences doctor’s team is headed by Dr Sandeep Iratwar. Nelson Hospital has launched the Neurosciences Centre to serve the patients from Nagpur and surrounding areas. Nelson Neurosciences Centre, Dhantoli is well equipped with facilities to cater to the neurological conditions like stroke, epilepsy, migraine, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, nerve and muscle diseases, myasthenia, etc. The management of Nelson Hospital Radha Sahu, Centre Head Dr Sonalkumar Bhagat and Administrative Officer Archana Thakre have provided excellent support for the development of Nelson Neurosciences Centre.
