CRPF trooper Shivlal Netam attained martyrdom in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir 
 
IN an encouraging move, a Shaheed Vatika has been developed as a tribute to Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper Shivlal Netam of the district. It needs to be recalled here that Shivlal Netam attained martyrdom in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. In order to pay him reverence a Shaheed Vatika has been developed in the CRPF camp premises. Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Chhattisgarh Sector Prakash D dedicated the Shaheed Vatika in the presence of 188 battalion CRPF Second Commanding Officer Premjit Kumar and Ashok Nigude, Deputy Commandant Jasvinder and Kailash Chand, Subedar Sher Bahadur Singh besides other CRPF personnel.
 
As per information, Shivlal Netam, a resident of village Patoda attained martyrdom on April 7, 2020 while being on duty. In his memory, Shaheed Shivlal Netam Vatika has been developed in premises of head-quarter of 188 battalion of CRPF. Martyr’s wife Hemlata Netam, her daughters and CRPF Commandant Sunil Kumar were also present in programme organized at premises. During the programme, IGP, CRPF, Chhattisgarh, Prakash D and Hemlata Netam planted saplings. In his address, IGP said that CRPF is largest paramilitary force in country and it is known for bravery. Netam got martyred last year in terrorist and hence a Vatika has been developed in the memory of brave-heart by CRPF Commandant Sunil Kumar and other personnel. The vatika will always remind us the sacrifice of Netam and other brave hearts.
