Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it is the responsibility of the State Government to provide health security to all the citizens of the State, including the poor. The Government will always be serious towards this responsibility. First joy is a healthy body; therefore, in order to save the citizens from ailments and provide best treatment, the Madhya Pradesh Government will ensure better management as before. Schemes like Ayushman, which proved to be important in corona era, provide free treatment. This Scheme is effective in making people disease-free. He said that Madhya Pradesh is first in implementation of the scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 23, 2018, this situation will be maintained. This scheme, which provides treatment expenditure of Rs 5 lakh annually to 2.5 crore citizens of the State, will be expanded continuously. Benefit of the scheme is being given to people who get Sambal Yojana and cheap foodgrains because the need of this class is most. Every eligible beneficiary will be linked to it. The target is to benefit more than one crore new beneficiaries by March under the scheme.
He was discussing with beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana in the auditorium of Minto Hall in Bhopal on Tuesday. Fulfilling the target of supplying 2.5 crore Ayushman cards, he presented Ayushman card to Dhanlaxmi of Bhopal. Ayushman Card given to her is 2.5 crore in line. The CM also distributed Ayushman cards to Shyama Rathore of Sehore, Aryan Joshi Vidisha, Ajay Singh Raisen and other beneficiaries. He said that protection of health is among top most priorities of Madhya Pradesh Government along with good law and order and education. Ayushman Yojana has helped many families in saving them from diseases like cancer. Health workers honoured n Staff Reporter Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured outstanding employees who performed important responsibility of making Ayushman cards in the State by giving them citations. He also congratulated them for their excellent work. Ram Niwas Manjhi of Gwalior stood first by making 26,000 Ayushman cards. Ayushman Mitra of Dewas Sushri Mamta Verma prepared 12,000 cards. State achieves 53 % target in providing Ayushman cards: Health Minister Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Prabhuram Chaudhary said that 53 per cent target has been achieved against the target of providing 4.70 crore Ayushman cards in the State.
Madhya Pradesh is leading in the work of free treatment under Mukhyamantri Covid Upchar Yojana and to Ayushman carholders in small towns. Beneficiaries of Sambal Yojana are also eligible to get Ayushman card. Similarly, beneficiaries who get cheap ration can also get Ayushman card. Due to interest and constant review of Chief Minister Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh ranks first in the country in this scheme. He was addressing the programme in which CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan did discussion with beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana at auditorium of Minto Hall in Bhopal on Tuesday. At the beginning of Ayushman Beneficiary Conference, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman said that work of connecting each eligible family with Ayushman Scheme is going on continuously. It is the world’s largest health insurance scheme. They are getting relief as the family gets treatment expenses up to Rs 5 lakh per annum. At the end of the programme, S Vishwanathan, Executive Officer, Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Madhya Pradesh, expressed gratitude. Health Commissioner Akash Tripathi was also present on the occasion. Earlier, Chief Minister also flagged off 10 new medical vehicles for patients from Minto Hall Complex by presenting keys.
