AOI, Nangia Specialty Hospital to observe World Patient Safety Day

 

 

The American Oncology Institute (AOI) in collaboration with Nangia Specialty Hospital, Nagpur, reiterates that patient’s safety is its top priority and it believes in empowering the workforce as it is all set to celebrate World Patient Safety Day.

 

World Patient Safety Day is observed every year on September 17 to increase public awareness and engagement, enhance global understanding, and spur global solidarity and action to promote patient safety. For the past year and a half, the world has been in pandemic mode, and this has challenged and overwhelmed the safety issues in health care systems, ranging from equipping adequate PPEs, maintaining sanitation and hygiene, and supporting the front-line health care workers in serving and treating patients.
